Basic Principles
Overview
To successfully run your first payroll in Payback you should complete four tasks. These are easy to do and do not take long. They should be completed in the following order
- Set up your company
- Set up employee(s)
- Process payments
- Run reports
We have made it so that you need to do the minimum amount of work to process your payroll and if you make any mistakes, they are easy to correct.
Set up a Company
Notes
- At least one company must be set up before anything else can be done
- The minimum amount of information you need to enter is a company name
- There are no limits to the number of companies you can set up
- All your companies are listed in this screen
- Click on the company grid to select a company for editing
